The best way is also the most boring one — trading. Until you get a proper T6 Lakon ship, the only viable way would be trading rares. You can tell the commodity is rare by its yellow name colour. Only downside is that the rares are, well, rare, only some stations have em, and the amount is pretty thin, and they only replenish after you sell the prevous batch. Once you have a T6, you can start trading regular goods for a decent coin. I trade with 2 stations, 28 ly apart from each over, 2 jumps with my fit, earning me CR per ton one way, and CR per ton the over way, wich nets me around k CR for minutes.

I haven’t tried trading yet but I just got into mining. I bought a Cobra III and decked it out with the best mining gear i could afford. In my first mining run i made enough to cover the cost i spent on the Cobra III. I’d say its a decent way to make money semi-early on, once you get past the starter Bulletin Board mission phase.
